London STEM Women Graduate Careers Event – 19th June 2024

What a fantastic way to round up STEM Women’s Spring/Summer 2024 events! In our final event of the season, 400 eager student and graduate attendees got to network with 42 top employers representing diverse STEM-related fields, all under one roof. It was an exciting day of inspiration, connections and new opportunities!

It was a great day to be back at this impressive venue in the heart of Westminster! Exhibitors enjoyed a networking lunch as excited students and graduates arrived on this sunny day in the capital.

A Warm Welcome

Kicking off the day was the welcome from STEM Women, followed by event sponsors, Trident Energy who shared details of their opportunities for STEM graduates. This was followed by insight talks and a panel discussion with representatives from Trident Energy and NATS. The panel discussion offered the audience a chance to put their questions to the speakers, with the panellists describing how they have established successful careers in male-dominated industries and the importance of growing a professional network.

Meaningful Connections

Throughout the afternoon, attendees were able to connect with all 42 employers at their company stands in the exhibition area, finding out valuable information about graduate jobs and internships, and forging meaningful connections.

Diverse Career Journeys

Later in the day, a second speaker session took place, with attendees able to hear from Medik8, AWE, Euroclear, Fluor and Framatome. The talks gave the audience an insight into various career options, with the speakers sharing advice and learnings from their diverse career journeys.
