Event Review – Brisbane STEM Women Student & Graduate Careers Event – Monday 31st March

This week STEM Women returned for our second year in Brisbane, the penultimate stop on our Australia 2025 Roadshow. We were thrilled to welcome 385 student and graduate attendees arriving throughout the afternoon at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre to meet 28 outstanding graduate employers.

Ideal Networking Space

Our student & graduate careers events provide the perfect space for the attendees to network and make connections with the employers at their exhibitor stands. Students and graduates were able to search for career opportunities such as internships, placement year roles and graduate schemes. The attendees at our events also often ask employers questions and receive insight such as CV tips and early careers advice for STEM disciplines.

The exhibitors were able to use the productive afternoon to seek out top talent from the attendees for the roles they are hiring for. Employers and representatives introduced the students and graduates to their companies, the roles that are currently open, and what skills and disciplines they are looking for from a candidate. They also answered questions and gave advice from first hand experience in their industries.
