STEM Women returned to Melbourne this year for another one of our exciting graduate careers events. This event was completely sold out! We were thrilled to welcome 424 attendees who arrived to meet 31 exhibitors throughout the afternoon at Crown Melbourne.

Connecting and Networking

Throughout the afternoon, the students and graduates arrived at the event, receiving their programmes with exhibitor information to help them decide which employers to approach to enquire for opportunities, ask their questions, and search for career advice based on their degree subjects and personal interests. 

The employers and company representatives were able to use the productive afternoon to showcase the opportunities that are currently open and network with the students and graduates that fit the job description best to encourage them to apply. These opportunities include internships, placement years and graduate roles. The exhibitors were also able to offer the attendees their expert career advice and anecdotes from real experiences in their industries, to hopefully inspire and encourage the next generation of women in STEM.
